Introduction

A key aspect of sustainability and conservation lies in the relationship between the transportation and the environment. In many cities, transportation infrastructure (or a lack thereof) is at the root of many environmental problems, including air pollution, increased reliance on fossil fuels, and urban sprawl (which is also often blamed for increases in energy consumption and the development of “suburbia”). Because of this, it makes sense to include “drive less” in our “Top Ten Conserver Actions”.  Outlined below is a collection of links that will provide some new ideas for you while rethinking how you get from point A to point B, wherever that might be!
