A United Conservation Appeal
It's not here yet, but it should be.

The question is a simple one:
how do we fund a united social movement?

• If Ontario's communities are organized for Community Action with a local green vision, a community network and an action plan; and
   

• if Ontario's provincial organizations are organized with networks, lead organizations and collaborative campaigns and programs to support Ontario's conservation priorities;
   

• then we need to support them through a united fundraising appeal for conservation across Ontario. 

A united environmental appeal has been tried before as a partnership of environmental policy groups, but not in support of helping people and communities become part of a sustainable, conserver society.

At some point, living sustainably will become as important to our society as health and social services.  We need to be ready with strong and well-funded voluntary sector programs help with the transition.
